TESLA BLATNA a.s. formed in 1958. as one of the divisions of the Czechoslovak electrotechnical concern TESLA. The first product of the company was resistive lugs for ignition wires, which subsequently, in the shortest possible time, made it possible to start producing the sets of ignition wires themselves. The TESLA factory program has gradually expanded. In particular, for automobiles, the production of electronic chokes for electric motors (windshield wiper, ventilation, stove, window lifters, etc.), as well as flat and strip fuses and related composite fuses was started. Since 1970, TESLA has started to cooperate with SKODA a.a.s. Mlada Boleslav directly. Delivery of products directly or through sub-suppliers to the VW Group is carried out to this day. Today, the production of sets of ignition wires, lugs for ignition wires and fuses is the basis of the production program of the TESLA plant. In addition, the company produces electronic components (resistors, photoresistors, optocouplers, chokes) and equipment (electronic siren), casting and injection molds, molds, etc. The plant is a supplier of ignition wires and fuses for car manufacturers in Europe (VW Group), as well as in Ukraine (VAZ). Exports represent 50% of the total production of the TESLA plant. Currently, the range of ignition wires is available for most European and Asian vehicles.
