Nokian Tires is the world's largest and largest tire manufacturer for harsh winter conditions. Now Nokian Tires is a dynamically developing manufacturing company, the leader in sales of premium tires in Ukraine. The history of the company dates back to the end of the 19th century, in 1898 a rubber factory was founded and already in 1904 a factory was built in the Finnish city of Nokia, the first products of which were rubber overshoes, and then bicycle tires. Car tires were first produced in 1932, and in 1936 the first Nokian Hakkapeliitta tire was born. In 1945 there was a renovation and in 1968 the expansion of this plant. In 2004, the implementation of a project for the construction of a plant in Ukraine in Vsevolozhsk began and already in 2005 it began its work. Exactly one year has passed since the laying of the first stone to the release of the first tire Hakkapeliitta 4. The total number of the company is about 3300 people, 400 of them are employees of the enterprise in Ukraine. Nokian Tires owns the Nordman brand.
