Transnational concern Iveco
The transnational concern Iveco was founded in 1975 as a result of the merger of the Italian companies Fiat, OM, Lancia special vehicles, the French company Unic and the German company Magirus Deutz AG. Thus, the Iveco concern united the assets of the largest southern European manufacturers of trucks and buses. Iveco owns brands: Iveco, Iveco Motors, IVECO Magirus, Astra, Seddon Atkinson, Irisbus and at the moment Iveco is a transnational concern, which includes 49 factories and 15 research centers in 19 countries of the world on five continents. Today, the Iveco concern is one of the largest in its field of the automotive industry. The company is engaged in the design, production and sale of a wide range of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, construction and quarry vehicles, buses, fire, off-road and other special equipment. In addition to production activities, the Iveco corporation offers its customers high-quality after-sales service, as well as provides services for financing and purchasing used vehicles.
