Eni is one of the few companies that operates a full cycle, including research and development of formulas, extraction, transportation and processing of oil and gas, production of base oils and additives, blending and packaging of oils.

Eni has its own development "know-how" of international level, thanks to the work of a modern research center in Milan, which employs about 800 specialists. As well as its own additive production plant, which is located in Robassomero, near Turin. Its production capacity allows it to produce over 55,000 tons of additives per year, which are used in the production of its own lubricants, as well as exported to 32 countries around the world.
