Owned by the German company Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH, it has been known in the market for high-quality automotive oils for over 60 years. Starting in 1946 with SAE-10 and SAE-30 engine oils, today RAVENOL produces not only a full range of motor oils, but also lubricants such as transmission oils for gearboxes and automatic transmissions, antifreezes, hydraulic and brake fluids. The RAVENOL line of motor oils for passenger transport includes five mineral and semi-synthetic, six hydrocracking and nine synthetic oils, covering the needs of all groups of motorists: from owners of practical "sevens" and "nines" to the owners of luxurious BMWs and Porsches. In addition to automotive engine oils, the company produces oils for two-stroke vehicles, motorsport and street racing; water transport: motor boats, boats and yachts, aquabikes and scooters; oils for trucks, quarry, construction and special equipment; industrial, compressor, cylinder, turbine oils and greases.
