
The KAMAZ Group of Companies is the largest automotive corporation in the Russian Federation. OJSC KAMAZ ranks 11th among the world's leading manufacturers of heavy trucks. The first stone was laid on August 16, 1969. Construction of the Kama Automobile Plant has begun. On February 16, 1976, the first Kama truck rolled off the main assembly line of an automobile plant. Today KAMAZ OJSC produces a wide range of trucks: trucks (over 40 models, over 1500 complete sets, right-hand drive vehicles), trailers, buses, tractors, engines, power units and various tools. In recent years, the range of products has expanded due to new models and families of vehicles - from urban distribution trucks to high-capacity vehicles for operation as part of road trains with a gross weight of up to 120 tons. The unified production complex of the group of organizations of OJSC KAMAZ covers the entire technological cycle of the production of trucks - from the development, manufacture, assembly of vehicles and auto components to the sale of finished products and service support. Today the KAMAZ group of organizations includes more than 150 organizations located in Ukraine, the CIS and far abroad. KAMAZ maintains absolute leadership in the class of heavy trucks in the markets of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and a number of other countries.
